Bigger, Stronger, Wiser, Kind Training Profile 

Overview

This post-training support is an online course that provides facilitators the opportunity to: 

  • Ask questions and receive expert feedback on facilitation approach. 

  • Reflect on your experiences and identify areas for growth. 

  • Learn from other facilitators through shared insights and strategies. 

 

 Improve Your COSP Facilitation Skills with Coaching and Support: 

  • Go beyond the basics of COSP facilitation. Gain a deeper understanding of the Circle of Security framework and our road map for change, the “Facilitator’s Path to Secure Hands.” 

  • Become a "Bigger, Stronger, Wiser, Kind" facilitator. Deepen your facilitation skills in guiding caregivers on their journey with Circle of Security Parenting. 

  • Benefit from additional learning materials. Access new video reflections, learning exercises, and facilitator-specific handouts. 

 

Learn from experienced Circle of Security Coaches: 

  • Self-paced online modules: Learners will have 2 weeks to complete six hours of asynchronous material. This self-guided learning will include an online discussion board that COSI will monitor. 

  • Interactive coaching sessions: Engage with a COS Coach during the four live Zoom sessions (90 minutes + 30 minutes office hours). 

  • Benefit from a cohort of peer facilitators: Meet peer facilitators, build community,

**Many of our official communications will show times in Pacific Time, as Seattle, Washington, is the server's location for the course website.

Eligibility

Service providers who have completed COSP Level 1.

Training Registration  

  1. Registration opens on April 10th, 2025  

  1. Approved staff will be sent a kick-off email with a link to registration on Swoogo 

  1. Staff will self-select a cohort. Each cohort has 30 spots, first come first serve.  

  1. Upon successful registration staff will receive a confirmation email.  

  1. After completing registration. Your trainer Rachel Fink (rachel@circleofsecurityinternational.com) will reach out with course access details within 7 business days. If you do not receive this email 2 days before course access. Please contact awilson@cmho.otrg  

Prerequisites 

COSP Level 1 Training (Does not need to be taken with PTI project)  

Note: if you have not taken COSP through the PTI project. Please send confirmation that you completed the course to awilson@cmho.org.  

Training format 

Virtual in English. Zoom link provided by Circle of Security International  

Training Commitment 

Staff who seek to participate in the COSP Better, Stronger Wiser, Kind facilitation training must commit to 1.5 months of training including:  

  • 2 weeks to view 6 hours of video training. 

  • 4 x 90-minute weekly sessions. (Mandatory)
